COMING EVENTS

We'd Love to Have You Join Us!

Seneca Presbyterian Church would like to extend an invitation to all who are interested in becoming members or who just want to learn more about our church.  We will be hosting a series of gatherings on three consecutive Sundays – January 8th, 15th, and 22nd - between services.  Each meeting will start at 10 am in the Koinonia classroom.

We will share some refreshments, learn about each other, hear more about life at SPC, ask questions, get invited to “sample” some opportunities, and make some new friends. Those who choose to join will be received as new members on January 29th.

These classes are not a hurdle to be jumped or a prerequisite for joining SPC.  They are our newest effort at hospitality to those who are interested in learning more about us.

The welcome mat is out and the light is on!  Please call the church office at 882-2505 if this sounds like something you would like to do.

Welcome logo

Welcome to the web site of Seneca Presbyterian Church. We are glad you found us – or at least this taste of who we are and what we are seeking to do for the Kingdom of God in our corner of the world. On Sunday mornings, you will find us in our house of worship at the corner of South Oak and West South First St. Come join us! Often during the week you will find us studying or eating or laughing together.

Come join us! But you will also find us serving God and this community through the Oconee Presbyterian Service Fund or Our Daily Bread or Our Daily Rest or the Golden Corners Food Bank or Habitat for Humanity – anywhere we can put our faith into action.

We believe that the love of God is real and can be experienced – when we worship together, when we learn together, and when we serve together. We believe that God calls us to a life that is abundantly blessed – in mercy and compassion and joy. How do we know all this? Because we believe God showed us that abundant way in the life, death, and resurrection of God’s Son Jesus. We seek to follow him in all that we do. We invite you to join us! --- Rev. Nancy Morris
